Njemile Carol Jones, L.Ac. has been in practice, offering acupuncture, moxibustion, Chinese herbal therapy and lifestyle guidance for 20 years.  Her practice specialty at Fertile Living, based in Alexandria, VA,  is Reproductive Health, for everyone seeking treatment support.  She is trained to assist with menstrual disorders, pre-conception care and fertility enhancement, pre-natal and postpartum care, and menopausal imbalance.

Njemile has been board certified in her specialty by the ABORM, since 2009.  When she started her Chinese Medicine program at Pacific College of Health and Science in 1995, she met a renowned TCM Obstetrician Gynecologist, the late Dr. Yitian Ni.  At that time, just two and a half years before she was killed in a tragic car accident, Dr. Ni was the most respected and loved practitioner in southern California, helping thousands of patients with pre-conception care, and treatment during and after pregnancy, as well as menopause, decades before Chinese Medicine was a popular treatment option in the U.S.

Njemile studied with Dr. Ni for two years, and still includes many of Dr. Ni’s effective treatment methods in her sessions today.  She is especially dedicated to helping people she treats discover and experience their innate capacity to heal, and the power of balance and harmony that they can experience on all levels — body, mind and spirit, by identifying and treating the root cause of health conditions.

Njemile is especially grateful to the birth doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, Reproductive Endocrinologists, Nurse Practitioners and OB/GYNs in the DMV who share their knowledge, skill and expertise to support families seeking safe, high quality, attentive medical care, and she is committed to upholding these standards for the communities she serves.
